Weekly Meal Plan

I miss the farmer’s market so much! We’ve been out of town the past two Saturdays and there are some things I will only get at the farmer’s market, and buying produce at the grocery store (even Ward’s) is putting a dent in the grocery budget. So, not as much local produce this week, but I’ll still bold the local products.

Tonight: country-style pork ribs, baked beans, and sweet potato oven fries

Monday: Red beans and rice with smoked beef sausage and peppers

Tuesday: clam chowder and grilled cheese sandwiches with tomatoes

Wednesday: Salmon patties, farro risotto with sweet potatoes and sage, roasted cauliflower

Thursday: rice cake stir-fry with beef, shiitake mushrooms, escarole, and green onions

Friday: Jeweled pilau with chicken, nargisi kofta
